6/08/2018 - I just returned from fieldwork in Denmark. I serviced seismic stations of the South Scandnavian Array, inclduing new Nanometrics Trillium instruments from the Danish seismic instrument pool, DanSeis. All data were retrieved and the insturments were working perfectly.

13/04/2018 - I just returned from a seismology short course at the University of Brasília, which I instructed together with José EP Soares and Marcus Lima. Thanks you to my hosts and all participants. I learned a lot, made new friends and hope that you all had as much fun as I did. Hope to see you all again.

23/07/2018 - Our most recent article "Garnet-controlled very low velocities in the lower transition zone at sires of mantle upwelling " has been accepted and is in press.

15/06/2018 - I am returning from a very interesting and successful ICAM VIII in Stockholm. Additional to my presentation, I met many great people and used the meeting for networking.

20/04/2018 - I came back from the EGU General Assembly 2018, where I presented 2 posters and was co-author of 3 other presentations.

13/03/2018 - I just returned from teaching a successful and fun seismology short course with José EP Soares at the University of Brasilia

20/10/2017 - I will be attending the GSA Annual Meeting in Seattle during the next week and will convene session T240 Structure and evolution of the North Atlantic-Arctic Realm

05/10/2017 - Our article "The Jan Mayen Microplate Complex and the Wilson Cycle" has been accepted and is in press.

04/05/2017 -The Earth System Petrology group at Aarhus University has just announced their annual PhD course Forging links between petrology and geophysics.
